Campus Bible Fellowship (CBF) was started in 1966 to reach college students in the United States through the local church. For over a decade, many foreign field missionaries have worked to add college ministries to their local churches and church-planting efforts. Recently, CBF became Campus Bible Fellowship International (CBFI). The goal of CBFI is to send trained CBF missionaries to fields where university towns have a church plant. The presence of CBFI missionaries will allow concentrated ministry at the university.
Kent and Belén Albright have been serving with Baptist Mid-Missions (BMM) since 1989. Through their church planting efforts in Santa Marta de Tormes, they have been burdened to share the gospel with many of the students at the University of Salamanca. Working with this veteran missionary couple will give me the opportunity to be involved in an ongoing church planting ministry at Santa Marta de Tormes as well as university outreach.
